Wonderful stay. We wish we had booked for longer. The host was amazing and we got to do wine tasting in the wild and also a beautiful picnic by the Olifants river. We will definitely be back for a longer stay

Ilse and Loek are probably the best hosts we have encountered so far. Not even for a second do you feel like you don't know these guys. Lengau Lodge is a cosy lodge on the Grietjie game reserve and was one of the best choices we made for the last leg of our trip. These guys manage the entire property by themselves and do such an incredible job! Attention to detail is their forte. From the table being set for a meal to the little picnic during our game drive, everything is very well planned out. Ilse cooks all the meals herself and must I say that the food is finger-licking good! Loek takes you for the game drives and has so much knowledge about the animals and forest. All our curious questions were answered. They have a watering hole in the back which serves as a haven for animals. Everyday you have a new visitor. Ilse and Loek take great care of your comfort and make you feel at home. The scenery is as mind blowing as it is magical and was totally worth ending our trip on such a high note!

In one word fantastic! The 3 days in the Lengau lodge were for us really the highlight of our tour in South Africa. This is because the whole picture is perfect. The rooms, the hospitality, the facilities, the food and of course the safaris with Loek! The sightings are amazing, we have seen the Big-5 during our stay! Ilse's meals were also always a treat. We also had a massage during our stay, this is definitely recommended. Loek and Ilse, thanks again for the wonderful stay!

About Lengau Lodge.

High quality 5-star accommodation services

Lengau Lodge is a family managed establishment located in the Balule Nature Reserve in Phalaborwa.The lodge is ideally located in a tranquil bush veld setting with the “Big 5” and is part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The lodge normally accommodates international tourists. The property has 3 en suite chalets and a family room, all with a private patio and modern furnishings in an excellent state of repair. Facilities and services at the lodge includes a swimming pool, TV lounge with bar, dining room, patio dining tables and lounges, braai boma, Wi-fi access, laundry service and watering hole. Activities include game drives, bush walks, balloon flights, helicopter flights, wine or gin tasting, bird watching, guided visits of the sightings at the Panorama route. Full day visits to Kruger Park are also provided for.
