Lengau Lodge

The following items can be booked through Lengau Lodge, but are all subject to availability. Please contact us for pricing. In case you are interested in one of the activities than please pre-book with us, so that we can secure the availability.

Early morning - Late afternoon - Safari game drive

Safari game drive, duration approximately 2,5-3 hours. Early morning at sunrise, coffee-tea-hot chocolate and a snack included. Late afternoon, sundowner (drink) and snacks included, partly a night drive, returning after sunset.

Full day Kruger National Park

Full day Kruger National Park visit, entering through Phalaborwa gate. Duration 10-12 hrs, including breakfast and lunch, prepared with traditional South African items, by the qualified FGASA field guide.

lunch at restaurant Olifants River

Near Phalaborwa is a boat station at the Olifants River. The lodge offers a visit to and from the boat station with our open game viewing vehicle (11:00-15:00). At the boat station a lunch will be offered by the lodge. Total duration of this visit combined with the safari game drives will be approx 4-5 hours. Guest will have to drive by themselves to book a boat safari.

Hot air balloon flight

Hot air balloon flight near the Drakensberg Mountains, (subject to good weather conditions)

Visit the local Gin distillery

Visit the local Gin distillery, combined with a gin tasting, as well as some other locally distilled drinks (Whisky, Brandy, Vodka & liqueurs).

Helicopter flight

Helicopter flight. Depending on the available budget: - 0,5 hours flying over the wild life reserves, fair change of seeing the larger animals, like Rhino, Buffalo, Elephants, Giraffe etc . - 1.0 hours flying to the Blyde River Canyon with amazing views, during the flight over the wild life reserve, with a fair change of spotting the big game in Greater Kruger National Park.

Bush Walk

starting at the lodge

Book a bush walk. You will be guided by a qualified armed ranger during a 3 hours bush walk through the reserve. During the walk the guide will show and explain details that you will never experience during a safari game drive. A magnificent safari experience.

Wine & Gin tasting

Wine or gin tasting on a magnificent viewing point on the premises of the Lodge, during an adjusted late afternoon safari game drive.
